GCI is advising the owners of the Sachon Publishing Group on the sale of the company to the Krammer Group

On February 20, 2020, Krammer Verlag Düsseldorf AG acquired the publishing house W. Sachon in Mindelheim. The publishing house will retain its name. Its headquarters will remain in Mindelburg. Sachon’s specialized publications focus on the beverage industry and retail, the painting trade, and the industrial fasteners sector. The publications are produced in German, English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
In the future, the company plans to expand its business areas, with the “Mindelburg” brand set to play a key role.
GCI Management Consulting GmbH supported the sellers in the following areas as part of a structured M&A process:
- Compilation of key company information and preparation of a sales memorandum
- Search for strategic buyers for the publishing group
- Conducting due diligence
- Negotiations with prospective buyers
