Andreas Aufschnaiter

After earning his degrees at the Universities of Innsbruck and Venice, Dr. Andreas Aufschnaiter started his career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Vienna. He has been active in the GCI Group since its founding. Presently, he is concentrating on his CEO position at MS Industrie AG based in Munich.

Andrea Borgato

Andrea Borgato studied in Verona. After several years of assistant accounting and consulting duties in Stuttgart, he began as a controller in Milan. Shortly thereafter, he assumed the management of a medium-sized automobile parts supplier in Bavaria. He then founded his own internet company and sold it. Since 2005, Dr. Borgato has worked as interim manager and consultant in controlling, due diligence, business planning and restructuring, in particular in German- and Italian-speaking Europe.

Christian Dreyer-Salzmann

After studying mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich, Christian Dreyer completed an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau. He then spent several years as a consultant with McKinsey & Comp. in Germany and Austria before joining GCI’s associate Hansen Sicherheitstechnik AG as managing partner. After 15 years, he took Hansen public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under GCI’s leadership and sold all shares to a Polish group.

His focus is on private equity and investment management. He was and is a shareholder and supervisory board member in several GCI investments or GCI mandates (including MS Industrie, Beno Holding, Frener & Reifer, Wolftank Adisa, MetrioPharm, DARWIN). He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the listed PE company Aurelius Equity Opportunities KGaA.

Konstantin Dreyer

While studying process engineering at Graz University of Technology, Konstantin Dreyer founded the social business Sindbad and gained his first entrepreneurial experience. After graduating, he first spent two years with the international AxFlow Group in technical sales as area manager for western Austria. He then spent two years as a management consultant at SHS Unternehmensberatung, where he learned the principles of analysis, optimization and implementation of entrepreneurial strategies. Since 2023, he has been actively looking for his own investments with GCI.

Alexander von Franckenstein

Alexander von Franckenstein studied economics and political science in Oxford and Paris.
After more than 15 years in a leading position in investment banking for two banks, he initially moved to an asset manager in Zurich as a member of the board and later as managing director of a Munich family office.
His focus is on investment management and capital market consulting for small and medium-sized companies. Alexander von Franckenstein is a member of the supervisory board of some start-ups and listed companies.

Stefan Hasper

As a qualified mechanical and business engineer, Stefan Hasper started at KPMG Consulting in business process optimization for international conglomerates, both locally as well as internationally. At GCI, Stefan Hasper concentrates on comprehensive, thorough consulting for medium-sized companies. His main focus is on implementation-oriented restructuring, and all the way through to active interim management. His entrepreneurial accountability is made evident by his position on the Board at STEMAS Investment Capital AG and his role as Managing Director of a medium-sized manufacturing enterprise.

Markus Wenner

Following his legal sciences studies in Germany and the US, Markus Wenner began his career working for three and a half years as an attorney at the international law firm of Clifford Chance in the areas of M&A and corporate finance. After one year at GSM Industries as an investment manager he switched to GCI Management, specializing in M&A, investment, capital market and corporate finance projects.
